Ukraine's air defense neutralizes 148 of 172 Russian drones

Russia attacked Ukraine with 172 drones of various types overnight, and air defense forces destroyed or suppressed 148 targets. The drones were launched from Russia and occupied territories. The attack occurred on the night of September 21, with drones launched from Belgorod, Shatalovo, Orel, Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo, and occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Crimea. Air defense used aviation, missile troops, electronic warfare, and mobile fire groups. As of 08:00, 147 Shahed, Gerbera, and other drones plus one Banderol/Dan-T were neutralized. Strikes hit 14 locations, with debris falling at 4 sites.
