Ukraine's strikes disable over 45% of Russia's oil refining capacity

Ukraine's General Staff reports that over 45% of Russia's projected oil refining capacity has been taken out of operation as a result of long-range strikes by the Ukrainian army. According to a statement published on Facebook, the strike on the Moscow oil refinery caused more than 45% of Russia's refining industry capacity to cease operations. This has led to a shortage of quality fuel in Russia, particularly a sharp decline in production of gasoline and diesel fuel meeting Euro-5/K5 standards. The Ukrainian military says it continues to target Russia's oil refining industry.
