Russia's combined attack on Ukraine kills two, injures 10, cuts power

Russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine overnight, using ballistic missiles, Kalibr cruise missiles, loitering munitions, and drones, striking Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties, destruction, and power outages. In Kyiv, four people were injured after a strike hit a residential building, with 15 people rescued. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two people were killed and six wounded in Dnipro, with a search-and-rescue operation ongoing. Kryvyi Rih was also hit by cruise missiles, and explosions were reported in Zaporizhzhia. Damage to an energy facility left approximately 100,000 subscribers in Chernihiv oblast without power across four districts, with crews working to restore electricity. This follows a previous drone attack on Zaporizhzhia on September 21.
