Russian Night Strike Damages Oldest Building of Zaporizhzhia National University

A Russian attack on the night of Monday, September 21, damaged the oldest building of Zaporizhzhia National University in the city center, causing a large fire. The strike hit the third academic building, a former women's gymnasium built in 1902, according to Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the regional Defense Council. Five people were injured, and two high-rise buildings and a shopping center were also damaged. Fedorov called the attack on educational institutions proof of the enemy's cynicism. Explosions were also reported in Kyiv and the region amid a Shahed drone threat, with a major fire breaking out at warehouses in Boyarka.
