Ukrainian developers promise antidote to jet-powered Geran drones by year-end

Ukrainian defense companies say they will have an antidote to Russia's new jet-powered "Geran-5" drones by the end of the year, with some suggesting it could be ready within weeks. The solution is a fixed-wing interceptor drone with a jet engine capable of reaching speeds of 500 to 600 km/h. One company, Grim Tech, claims it can produce up to 1,000 such drones per month, though the design has not yet received government approval. Ukraine is developing multiple interceptors to counter Russia's recent air advantage, which includes increased ballistic missile production. The Sting S interceptor has already destroyed up to ten Geran-4 drones and several Geran-5 cruise missiles, while the "Zorilyot v5" interceptor reaches speeds of 416 km/h.
