Iran blacklists 45 tankers over Strait of Hormuz rules

Iran has blacklisted 45 tankers for allegedly violating its rules in the Strait of Hormuz, threatening fines, cargo seizure, or detention. The new Persian Gulf Strait Authority issued the warning. The list includes crude oil, LNG, LPG, and refined product tankers owned by UAE's ADNOC L&S, Saudi Arabia's Bahri, and others. Ship-to-ship transfers with blacklisted vessels may also face penalties. Companies like Klaveness, Stolt Tankers, and Sinokor manage some listed ships. Owners can request removal by applying to Iranian authorities. The tankers named include Kiku, Mubaraz, and Gaslog Shanghai.
