Houthis Strike Saudi Tanker in Red Sea, Bomb Convoy in Yemen

Yemen's Houthi rebels announced attacks on a Saudi oil tanker in the Red Sea and an airstrike on a truck convoy in Yemen, claiming it was transporting weapons. The Houthis fired a ballistic missile at the tanker off Saudi Arabia's western Yanbu port on August 24, stating the vessel caught fire and nearby ships evacuated. They also said they destroyed over 10 trucks in Yemen, alleging the convoy was carrying arms from Saudi Arabia. The group claimed additional missile and drone strikes on weapons depots, killing or wounding dozens of enemy commanders. They have continued attacks on Saudi Arabia in the Red Sea, disrupting maritime shipping.
