Russian Drone Attacks on Kyiv and Dnipro Injure Four; Ukraine Strikes Ryazan Refinery
At least four people were injured in a new wave of Russian drone attacks targeting Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk and Kyiv regions, causing fires at critical infrastructure and residential buildings. Ukrainian forces retaliated with a massive drone strike on Russia's Ryazan region, hitting a major oil refinery. In the Dnipropetrovsk region, drones struck the cities of Dnipro and Samar, wounding three people and setting a home and garages ablaze. In the Kyiv region, an attack on a logistics depot in Bucha sparked a large fire, injuring one person, with emergency crews mobilized to contain the blazes. The Ukrainian strike on Ryazan caused fires at industrial sites, power outages, and one injury, targeting a Rosneft refinery with an annual capacity of 17-18 million tons. The plant supplies fuel to Moscow and central Russia, with reports indicating it also produces fuel for the Russian military.
