Kyiv Metro Red Line resumes after voltage fluctuations halt service

ua.korrespondent.net (Ukrainian) —

Kyiv's metro resumed service on the Red Line with 9-minute intervals after a temporary halt caused by significant voltage fluctuations. Further disruptions remain possible. The metro's press service reported the suspension on Thursday, November 5, due to voltage instability from external power centers. The Blue and Green Lines continued operating normally during the disruption. Authorities warned that sharp voltage changes could cause additional temporary stops or longer intervals. Similar voltage-related suspensions occurred on parts of the Red and Green Lines on November 2.
