Russia and Ukraine trade overnight drone strikes on energy and logistics sites
Russia and Ukraine exchanged overnight drone strikes on infrastructure, causing injuries on both sides. Moscow said it hit a postal hub, power substation, and cargo ship, while Ukrainian drones targeted an industrial zone in Ryazan, Russia. Russia's Defence Ministry reported striking a Nova Poshta terminal near Kharkiv, a 330-kilovolt substation in Dnipropetrovsk, and a dry cargo ship in the Black Sea. Ukrainian officials did not immediately confirm these strikes, while Kharkiv Governor Oleh Syniehubov said over 80 drones injured six people, including a child. In Russia, Ryazan Governor Pavel Malkov said more than 200 Ukrainian drones caused fires and power cuts, injuring one person. Ukraine has intensified attacks on Russian oil refineries, while Russia's strikes on Ukraine's power grid have caused rolling blackouts in Kyiv since mid-October.
