Trump denies role in Starlink slowdown in Ukraine
US President Donald Trump denied on Friday that he was behind the reported slowdown of Starlink service in Ukraine, stating he had not done so and was unsure if any restrictions existed. Trump told reporters at the White House he did not believe Elon Musk was responsible either, adding that he had checked the matter that morning and understood the service was still operating as usual. He also expressed uncertainty about any speed limits on Starshield, the military version of Starlink. Musk had earlier said any restrictions would be decided by the US military and ultimately the president. Trump also described his relationship with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as "good" despite recent tensions, saying he wants Zelensky to settle the war.
