Kyiv hit by second Russian strike in two days; Podilskyi administrative building damaged

ua.korrespondent.net (Ukrainian) —

A second wave of Russian ballistic strikes hit Kyiv overnight on October 27, with impacts recorded on an administrative building in the Podilskyi district and two non-residential structures, according to Mayor Vitali Klitschko. The attack follows an initial barrage late on October 26. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that the earlier ballistic strike targeted a university campus, Kyoto Park, an area near a metro station, and residential buildings. City authorities confirmed ten injuries from that first attack, most of them students from a university dormitory. The strikes mark a continued escalation of Russian attacks on the capital, with officials documenting damage across multiple civilian and administrative sites. No further details on casualties from the second wave have been released yet.
