Russia signals readiness for preliminary talks with Ukraine after November 4

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Russia is ready to resume trilateral negotiations with Ukraine and the US after November 4, according to Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov. He stated Moscow's willingness to return to talks following Russia's Day of National Unity holiday. Ushakov said he does not expect significant results from the first trilateral meeting after the pause, describing it as potentially having a "sighting" or preliminary character. His comments were reported by Russian outlet RBC via the propaganda channel Vesti. The Day of National Unity, celebrated since 2005, commemorates the 1612 liberation of Moscow from Polish forces and replaced the October Revolution anniversary holiday. US government sources suggest the next round could take place in Abu Dhabi or Switzerland.
