Russian strikes on Kyiv and Kharkiv kill three, wound twelve
Russian attacks on Ukraine killed at least three people overnight, with strikes on Kyiv and Kharkiv damaging civilian infrastructure including a university and residential buildings. In Kyiv, a Russian ballistic missile attack damaged a university, killing one person and injuring eight, with rescue operations ongoing as authorities warned people may be trapped under rubble. In Kharkiv, two people were killed and four wounded in strikes on the Novobavarsky district, damaging homes and cars. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said delays in allied air defense supplies are "helping Russian terror," urging partners to provide tools to destroy ballistic missile launchers. Kyiv's mayor confirmed three of the injured are in serious condition.
