Ukrainian Drones Strike Deep Inside Russia, Hitting Chemical Plant and Logistics Hub
Ukrainian drones struck targets deep inside Russian territory, including a chemical factory and an Ozon logistics center in Omsk, about 2,500 kilometers from the border, causing a major fire. A separate attack on Belgorod killed one person and injured ten others. The Omsk chemical plant, a major producer of synthetic rubber, was hit on Saturday, with the regional governor confirming the attack. The Ozon facility was also hit, and workers were evacuated with no reported injuries. In Belgorod, residential buildings and vehicles were damaged in the overnight drone assault. Elon Musk accused Ukraine of using Starlink for offensive drone attacks, claiming it violated terms of service, though he provided no evidence. Germany will participate in the "Koalicja 2026" exercise in November to test a multinational force for securing a potential ceasefire.
