ua.korrespondent.net (Ukrainian) —

Russian forces destroyed the last operating Epicenter hypermarket in Kharkiv on their third attempt, causing a large fire that consumed the retail halls and warehouses. The attack occurred on October 24, following two previous strikes on the store over the past two months. Kharkiv experienced 36 Russian attacks over the past week, resulting in three deaths and 28 injuries, including three children, according to Mayor Ihor Terekhov on Monday, October 26. The strikes involved Shahed drones, FPV drones, and Tornado-S rocket systems, damaging residential buildings, industrial sites, a TV tower, and railway and energy infrastructure across six districts. The hypermarket's closure means job losses and the loss of a key source of building materials for residents repairing homes under state programs. During firefighting on October 24, three emergency workers were wounded in a double-tap strike, and one fire truck was destroyed.
