Ukrainian drones struck the Russian city of Voronezh early on October 26, killing two people and injuring 17, with explosions and fires reported across the city during an ongoing attack. A drone reportedly hit the Chizhov Gallery, a 25-story administrative center in the city center. Russian air defense responded to the drone attack, with a drone threat announced around 3 a.m. local time followed by a missile alert about two hours later. Governor Aleksandr Gusev confirmed the response, while independent agency Astra reported fires in residential areas and a dense column of smoke rising from multiple zones. Separately, Russia's Defense Ministry said its forces struck a merchant ship in the Black Sea carrying military supplies destined for Ukrainian forces heading to Odessa port. Moscow also claimed attacks on port infrastructure, energy facilities, and drone storage sites across Ukraine, including the PS-330 Zalyutino electrical substation in Kharkiv and the port of Chornomorsk.
