Voronezh drone attack kills two, injures 17 in largest strike yet
Voronezh experienced its largest drone attack on October 26, with over 70 drones shot down over the city and 113 destroyed across the region, resulting in two deaths and 17 injuries. Two men, born in 1960 and 1973, were killed. Sixteen adults and one child were wounded, including five people injured on a train from Anapa to Moscow. Fires damaged industrial sites, a business center, residential buildings, and other locations across the city. The attack disrupted train service, delaying 18 trains, and caused internet and navigation issues. The Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant operates normally with standard radiation levels. Schools and kindergartens remain open, though some universities switched to remote learning.
