Ukrainian Drone Strike on Voronezh Kills Two, Injures 17
Ukrainian strikes on Voronezh killed two people and wounded 17, including a child, according to regional governor Alexander Gusev, with drone debris hitting a train carrying many of the injured. Russian forces destroyed 113 drones over the Voronezh region overnight, over 70 directly above the city. Fires broke out at industrial sites, a shopping center, an apartment building, and a school stadium, with facades and windows damaged across the city. Gusev called the attack terrorist. Separately, Russian overnight strikes on Ukraine wounded at least nine people across Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, and Izium regions. Moscow reported targeting logistics centers, energy infrastructure, and ports, including a ship near Chornomorsk, while claiming to have downed 290 Ukrainian drones over 16 regions.
