Russian strike on Khmelnytskyi energy facility causes power outages

ua.korrespondent.net (Ukrainian) —

A Russian strike on an energy facility in the Kamianets-Podilskyi district of Khmelnytskyi Oblast caused emergency power outages, according to regional governor Serhiy Tiurin. No casualties have been reported. The attack damaged the energy infrastructure, leading to emergency electricity disconnections. Tiurin stated that power workers are currently working to restore supply, and windows in two residential buildings were also damaged. This incident follows a Russian drone attack on Vinnytsia Oblast overnight on October 25, which also caused power outages in some areas of the regional center. The latest strike adds to ongoing disruptions to Ukraine's energy grid.
