Ukraine launches massive drone attack on Russia's Belgorod region
Ukraine has launched a massive drone attack on Russia's Belgorod region, according to Russian and Ukrainian reports, killing at least one civilian and injuring many others. Regional governor Aleksandr Sjuvajev said on Telegram that the attack damaged 30 apartment buildings, 35 cars, four private homes, three administrative buildings, eight commercial properties, and three social facilities. Unconfirmed reports also indicate a large shopping center caught fire. Belgorod is located in southern Russia, just miles from the Ukrainian border. Large Ukrainian drone strikes were also reported in the neighboring Kursk region, leaving thousands without power, while Moscow's defense ministry claims over 530 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight.
