Ukrenergo confirms Tuesday power cuts after Russian strikes

ua.korrespondent.net (Ukrainian) —

Ukraine's national energy company Ukrenergo confirmed scheduled power outages for Tuesday, October 27, due to the aftermath of massive Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. Restrictions will apply in some regions for all consumer categories. Hourly blackout schedules will be in effect from 06:00 to 23:59, affecting 1.5 to 2.5 queues of consumers. Power limits will also apply to industrial enterprises and businesses during this period. Ukrenergo warned the situation may change and urged consumers to monitor regional operator announcements and practice energy conservation. Earlier Monday, six regions experienced new outages, following a Russian attack on October 22 involving missiles and 140 drones.
