Ukrainian forces struck the Energia plant in Yelets, Russia, on October 25-26, hitting a battery production workshop and causing a fire, according to the General Staff. The strike complicates Russian production of power sources for missiles and guided bombs. Energia is the sole manufacturer of batteries for glide bomb guidance modules and also produces batteries for Iskander-M missiles and sea-launched cruise missiles. The military confirmed results of strikes on other targets, including the Proton-Electrotex plant in Oryol on October 23, where the main microchip workshop was destroyed. Additional confirmed strikes include a drone preparation and launch site near Donetsk on October 23, damaging three buildings and a launch rail, and the Tolyattikauchuk plant on October 24, damaging equipment used in solid rocket fuel production. The General Staff stated strikes on Russian military targets will continue until the aggression ends.
