Russia strikes four Epicentr hypermarkets in Ukraine within a day
Russia attacked four more Epicentr construction hypermarkets in Ukraine, according to the company's communications director Yulia Chudnovets. Stores in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia, and Poltava were hit within less than a day. In Poltava, a fire broke out at the site and a 52-year-old woman was injured, regional military administration head Vitaliy Dyakivnych reported. In Kharkiv, the last Epicentr in the city burned down on October 24, and two State Emergency Service workers were injured during a repeat attack on the site. In Zaporizhzhia, no casualties were reported, but a fire was contained by morning. Over the past week, Russia has destroyed or damaged multiple Epicentr hypermarkets, including in Kovel, Dubno, Uman, Pervomaisk, and Kyiv's Pochaina district. On October 13, Russian forces attacked the company's logistics center in Khmelnytskyi ten times, and previously destroyed two of its largest logistics complexes in Kyiv and the region.
