Ukrainian drones cripple Russian oil refineries and logistics hubs

podrobnosti.ua (Ukrainian) —

Ukrainian drones are systematically disabling Russian oil refineries and logistics hubs, targeting critical infrastructure across the country. The attacks have caused fuel shortages, aviation disruptions, and halted oil transit for international partners. On November 5, a drone strike hit the Rosneft refinery in Ryazan, which produces aviation fuel for central Russia, while a fire also broke out at a Wildberries logistics warehouse. The previous day, a large Ozon distribution center in Adygeysk was damaged, marking the twelfth such hub hit. On November 3, a record wave of nearly 500 drones caused a major aviation collapse in Moscow, shutting down all four airports. Earlier strikes on November 2 and 1 targeted the Samara oil station, prompting Kazakhstan to suspend oil transit, and the Kstovo refinery, causing power outages in nearby towns. The Yaroslavl refinery, among Russia's largest, also suffered multiple fires.
