Residents in occupied Oleshky still lack access to delivered humanitarian aid
Residents remaining in occupied Oleshky, Kherson region, still lack access to humanitarian aid delivered during a recent mission, according to the local military administration head, Tetyana Hasanenko. Those who did receive supplies reported receiving only minimal food portions, insufficient for even a week. Hasanenko stated there is currently no way to verify the situation on the ground, and some residents missed evacuation announcements while hiding in basements without communication. The humanitarian operation began with a ceasefire on October 27, delivering aid to about 1,700 people. Evacuations started October 30, with nearly 800 people moved via Russia and Belarus to Ukrainian-controlled territory. President Zelensky announced the operation's completion on October 31.
