Ukraine to impose power outages up to 12 hours in some regions on Friday

pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

Ukraine will impose hourly power outages for up to 12 hours or more in some regions on Friday, November 6, due to Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. The national grid operator Ukrenergo said outages will apply from 00:00 to 23:59, affecting 2.5 to 4 outage groups simultaneously, with industrial consumers facing capacity limits throughout the day. The restrictions stem from massive Russian strikes on energy facilities, and Ukrenergo warned the situation may change, urging consumers to use electricity sparingly. Four active groups can mean outages exceeding 12 hours daily.
