Russian drones strike Bila Tserkva energy infrastructure

nv.ua (Ukrainian) —

On Thursday evening, November 5, Russian forces struck energy infrastructure in Bila Tserkva with three jet-powered drones, according to the city council. Utility workers are currently restoring power supplies. The city council warned that the situation remains dangerous, with a high risk of repeated attacks. This follows Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's statement that every power plant in Ukraine has been damaged by Russian strikes. Zelensky said Ukraine urgently needs modern electrical equipment and diesel and gas generators, potentially from companies in Spain and Latin America. On November 3, Ukrenergo reported one of the largest Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy system, with over 20 targeted strikes in a day.
