Ukraine to impose round-the-clock power cuts on November 6 after Russian strikes

korrespondent.net (Russian) —

Ukraine will impose round-the-clock power outage schedules on Thursday, November 6, due to damage from Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure, Ukrenergo announced on November 5. Hourly outage schedules will apply from 00:00 to 23:59, with between 2.5 and 4 consumer queues potentially disconnected simultaneously, depending on the region. Industrial enterprises and businesses will also face power capacity restrictions throughout the day. Ukrenergo stressed the published schedules are not final, as the situation may change following Russian strikes. Ukrainians are advised to monitor updates from local energy operators and use electricity sparingly to reduce strain on the system. The measures follow a Russian attack on the night of November 5 involving missiles and 128 drones.
