Russian bombs hit Sloviansk, damaging homes and schools; two wounded
On Saturday evening, October 24, Russian forces struck Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast with guided aerial bombs, damaging and destroying multi-story buildings, two educational institutions, an administrative building, infrastructure, a cafe, and cars. At least two people were wounded. The attack used FAB-250 and FAB-500 bombs, according to the head of the Sloviansk Military Administration, Vadym Lyakh. The strikes hit various parts of the city, causing widespread damage to civilian property. This follows recent Russian attacks in the region, including a FAB-250 strike on Kramatorsk on October 23 that killed one person and wounded six, and an October 22 air strike on Sloviansk that wounded five people, including two children.
