Brussels police monitor youth antifascist rally near Central Station

rtl.be (French) —

Around 100 young people gathered near Brussels Central Station on Saturday morning for an antifascist protest under close police surveillance. The rally followed clashes on October 9 between youths and police during a union demonstration. Participants chanted antifascist slogans, with many wearing black hoods, while officers conducted searches and checks on several individuals. A separate gathering also took place in Liège, where the march headed toward the city center. Authorities reported calm conditions at both locations so far.
