Antonelli wins Austin GP but world title celebrations delayed
Italian authorities arrested Youssef Siher, administrator of the 'Movimento 17 ottobre' social media page and Telegram chat, on charges of incitement to crime with terrorism intent. Milan prosecutors will seek formal validation of his detention on Monday. Siher, a 30-year-old Italian of Moroccan origin and political movements researcher, allegedly created a Telegram group of over 6,000 members to organize riots on October 24, 2026. Police intervention prevented the planned unrest, which prosecutors say would have caused terror among the population. His wife, Sagia Hammoud, is also under investigation for the same charges. Genoa prosecutors are examining possible links between Siher and a group arrested in December 2025 over alleged Hamas financing through charity networks.
