European protests from France to Albania draw mass arrests and injuries
Protests erupted across Europe on Saturday, from France to Albania, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, leading to violent clashes, mass arrests, and injuries in several capitals. In France, around 2,400 people were arrested and nearly 1,000 security forces injured, with 100 protesters and residents hurt in Paris alone. Albania saw police fire tear gas at demonstrators, with over 300 injuries and dozens detained. Italy reported nine arrests and 371 detentions, including 110 minors, across eight cities.
