quotidiano.net (Italian) —

Italian authorities identified 271 people linked to two days of riots in central Milan, with 80% being minors. Prosecutors described the actions as "rare violence," charging suspects with devastation, looting, and aggravated resistance. Of those identified, 220 are minors and 60 are foreigners. Police detained 174 under a security decree provision, while 32 arrests were made for Sunday's clashes, including 23 minors. Fourteen officers were injured, and interrogations of adult suspects began at San Vittore prison. The government plans to deploy 500 additional soldiers to Milan under Operation Safe Streets. One 19-year-old suspect allegedly looted a Foot Locker with a group of about 50 people, while two others wore balaclavas featuring a skull and footballer Ronaldo's face.
