Explosions in Kyiv as Russian drones strike Ukrainian capital

masrawy.com (Arabic) —

Explosions were heard in Kyiv during a Russian drone attack, with Ukrainian media reporting debris falling in several districts and causing fires, though no injuries were recorded. Debris damaged a road and windows in the Shevchenko district, while fires broke out in Holosiivskyi and Desnianskyi areas. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said Russian air defenses destroyed 10 drones approaching the capital. The attacks follow repeated Ukrainian drone strikes on Moscow, including a major wave on October 29 when Russia reported downing most of 613 drones. Kyiv says targeting Russian military and energy sites aims to reduce its war capabilities.
