pravda.com.ua (Ukrainian) —

The Kremlin has welcomed the United States' invitation for Vladimir Putin to attend the G20 summit in Miami, with spokesman Dmitry Peskov expressing gratitude and confirming the matter will be processed through diplomatic channels. Peskov stated that Moscow heard the invitation, appreciates it, and will decide on participation after working through the issue via diplomatic channels. The invitation was announced by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who expressed hope Putin would attend. Bloomberg reported Putin may skip the summit, which will include President Donald Trump. Putin recently declined a proposal from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for talks on ending the war on the sidelines of the G20, and Trump has said he does not know if Putin will agree to a trilateral meeting.
