Kremlin says Putin's G20 attendance in Miami undecided

korrespondent.net (Russian) —

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said it is premature to discuss a potential meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G20 summit, stating no decision has been made yet. Peskov confirmed Moscow appreciates the US invitation for Putin to attend the summit in Miami, adding that it will be carefully reviewed before a final decision is reached. He made these comments on Thursday, September 24. Bloomberg previously reported that Putin plans to personally attend the APEC summit in Shenzhen, China, on November 18-19, while his participation in the US-hosted G20 on December 14-15 remains unlikely.
