Trump urges Zelensky to fly to Moscow for Putin talks

Zelensky declined the proposal. Bloomberg reported that the suggestion upset Zelensky, citing sources familiar with his position. The White House did not respond to a request for comment. When asked by Russian journalists when he would visit Moscow, Zelensky replied he would go "on a rocket," using an expletive. The proposal comes as the US seeks a ceasefire on energy infrastructure strikes, though no deal was reached. Technical talks between Ukraine and Russia may occur in the UAE, while the US has not proposed a specific date. Trump has not decided on additional air defense supplies for Ukraine this winter.
