US proposes trilateral Ukraine-Russia talks in UAE, Zelenskyy says

The United States has proposed a trilateral technical-level meeting involving Ukraine and Russia, with the United Arab Emirates as a potential host, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday. Zelenskyy said Washington is awaiting a date proposal and that Ukrainian negotiators have already met with U.S. counterparts following his talks with President Donald Trump at the UN General Assembly. He added that details will be shared with European allies, while the U.S. will communicate with Russia. The Kremlin said such a meeting could happen soon. Zelenskyy also asked Trump to raise the war with Chinese President Xi Jinping during his U.S. visit, and warned European partners of continued Russian hybrid attacks, which Moscow denies.
