Trump Hints at 'Big, Beautiful Agreement' to End Ukraine War, Involving All of Europe

President Donald Trump hinted at a "big, beautiful agreement" to end the Russia-Ukraine war, suggesting the deal could involve all of Europe, following a private White House meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin's envoy, Kirill Dmitriev, on Thursday. Trump declined to disclose details of the conversation but expressed optimism, saying the agreement would extend beyond Ukraine and leave "everyone" thrilled. The meeting precedes US-mediated Russian-Ukrainian talks scheduled in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11, with Trump's envoy Jared Kushner reporting "productive" discussions with Ukraine, NATO, and European partners in Brussels. The White House event also marked a six-day ceasefire in Oleshky, brokered by First Lady Melania Trump, who urged both sides to build on the humanitarian initiative. The engagement followed Tuesday's midterm elections, where Democrats won Congress, potentially increasing scrutiny of Trump's Russia policies.
