Zelensky outlines Brussels talks on security guarantees and Abu Dhabi meeting prep
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that security guarantees for Ukraine and preparation for a trilateral meeting in Abu Dhabi were the key topics of talks held in Brussels on November 4-5. Zelensky said the Brussels discussion aims to "develop answers to questions" that may arise during the November 10-11 talks in the Emirates. He noted that representatives from the EU, NATO, and the US are present, and that progress has already been made in the negotiations. The president emphasized the need for clear written outcomes, specifying what actions and means would be taken if Russia resumes aggression. He also met with European Council President António Costa to discuss Europe's role in security guarantees and Ukraine's EU membership path.
