Melania Trump to Host Russia-Ukraine Talks at White House
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with US President Donald Trump's envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner for 90 minutes, urging faster negotiations to end the war. Ukraine, Russia, and the US confirmed talks will take place in Abu Dhabi on November 10-11. First Lady Melania Trump will host representatives from both sides at the White House on Thursday, with Kremlin officials Kirill Dmitriyev and Jana Lantratowa expected to attend. Ukrainian ombudsman Dmytro Lubinez also announced his participation in the Washington meeting. Melania Trump previously mediated a ceasefire in occupied Oleshky in October, the longest in the conflict, and received a Ukrainian national order from Zelenskyy. She has also advocated for the return of Ukrainian children deported to Russia.
