The November 2 decree cited her "significant personal contribution" to humanitarian aid and work helping Ukrainian children, including those deported from Russian-occupied territory. Ukrainian officials say she helped organise a six-day ceasefire to evacuate civilians from Oleshky, which ended Sunday. Nearly 800 people were evacuated from the frontline town, marking the longest local pause in fighting since Russia's 2022 invasion. The honour recognises women for exceptional contributions in science, education, culture and charity.
