Trump Texts Fox Host Mid-Segment to Complain About Co-Host's Commentary

During a Fox News segment on political spam texts, host Greg Gutfeld received a text from President Donald Trump complaining about co-host Jessica Tarlov, reading it aloud on air. Trump criticized Tarlov's commentary on gas prices and inflation, using capitalized words for emphasis. Trump's text claimed gas prices are lower than under Biden and Obama, cited 1.7% inflation over three months, and denied a nuclear bomb threat from Iran. Tarlov responded dryly, telling Gutfeld to "press 'Stop'" and joking Trump didn't ask for a $5 donation. Trump had also posted on Truth Social moments earlier, calling Tarlov "DUMB AS A ROCK" and saying he'd leave Fox until she was off the air. The incident occurred during Election Day coverage, highlighting Trump's ongoing feud with the network's liberal commentators.
