The award recognizes Trump's "significant personal contribution" to humanitarian aid, human rights advocacy, and charity work, specifically for rescuing Ukrainian children and citizens affected by Russian aggression and illegal deportation. Zelensky also honored Mark Beckman, senior special advisor to the First Lady, with the Golden Heart presidential award. Trump recently completed a humanitarian mission in Oleshky, Kherson region, delivering critical aid and evacuating nearly 800 people.
