An unknown projectile struck an oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz off Oman's coast, sparking a fire that was later extinguished, according to the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO). The crew is safe. No environmental damage has been reported, and the vessel's name and port of registry were not disclosed. The attack occurred about nine nautical miles northeast of the Ash Shishah area. This incident follows a previous attack that damaged an oil tanker off Oman's coast, leaving it unable to continue its journey.
