Ukrainian Drone Strikes on Energodar Market Wound Six, Trigger Terror Probe
Ukrainian forces attacked a market in Energodar, Zaporozhye region, twice on Sunday, wounding six people in the first strike, with a second attack's toll still being clarified. Russian authorities have opened a terrorism investigation. The first FPV-drone strike on Kazatskaya Street injured a man in extremely critical condition, undergoing surgery, and five women with shrapnel wounds in moderate condition. A second strike hit roughly an hour later while emergency services and civilians were present, causing additional casualties. Russia's Investigative Committee has launched a case under Article 205 of the Criminal Code (terrorist act) over the attacks on the civilian gathering place. The agency stated it will provide legal assessment of those responsible.
