Drone fragment pierces Rostov-on-Don apartment wall above resident's bed

A drone fragment pierced a window in a Rostov-on-Don apartment and lodged in the wall directly above a resident's bed. The man and his family were unharmed because they had preemptively taken shelter. The incident occurred during a nighttime drone attack, with the resident reporting the fragment entering his home. Other residents woke to explosions and sheltered in parking garages for about five hours. Air defense destroyed roughly 30 drones over the city and region overnight. The attack damaged multiple apartment buildings. According to regional governor Yuri Slyusar, a child was among the injured and was hospitalized.
