Ukrainian drone strikes kill several in Russia and Crimea

Ukrainian drone attacks killed several people in Russia and Crimea on Monday, including one in Perm and two in Sevastopol, with residential buildings damaged. Russian authorities reported the strikes. In Perm, over 1,100 kilometers east of Moscow, one person died and four were injured after 27 drones were intercepted, regional governor Dmitri Machonin said. A man was also killed in Belgorod, while Crimea's Moscow-appointed governor confirmed a man and teenage girl died in Sevastopol. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed attacks on Russian targets, including refineries in Ryazan, Perm, and Tatarstan, plus sites in Kursk and the Black Sea. Ukraine has defended against Russia's invasion for over four and a half years, striking Russian rear areas and Crimea, which Russia uses as a staging base.
