Russian air defenses down 32 Ukrainian drones; casualties reported in seven regions

Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 32 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones on Monday, September 7, according to Russia's Ministry of Defense. The attacks resulted in casualties across multiple regions. The drones were shot down between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. over the Bryansk, Belgorod, Kaluga, Kursk, and Oryol regions, as well as Perm Krai, Crimea, and the Black Sea. In the Belgorod region, one man died in Grayvoron, and several others were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds from FPV drone strikes. In Crimea, a child and a man died from a separate overnight attack, with damage reported to eight apartment buildings. In Perm, one person was killed and four injured after a drone struck an apartment building.
